Field Study: ROS Improves Ozone System in a Surface Water Treatment Plant
This is a case study at a 10 mgd surface water treatment plant using an aging ozone system in front of the filters. Using ROS as a pre-treatment, we lowered bromate, TOC, TTHMs, and HAA5s, improved filtered water quality, reduced the energy cost of the ozone system, and saved over $20MM by replacing an aging ozone system.
