FIELD STUDY-ROS IMPROVES OZONE SYSTEM IN A SURFACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT
This is a case study at a 10 mgd surface water treatment plant using an aging ozone system in front of the filters. Using ROS as a pre-treatment, we lowered bromate, TOC, TTHM’s, HAA5’s and improved Filtered water quality while lowering energy cost of the ozone system plus saving over $20MM to replace an aging ozone system.
