ROS IN ICE REDUCES SPOILAGE

Research is demonstrating that using oxygen in the reactive form destroys microorganisms that support spoilage and mold in fruits and vegetables.  Using JC 9465 as vegetable wash will lower the rate of spoilage.  Fruits and vegetables packed in ice using JC 9465 have an extra layer of protection against e.Coli and Salmonella.  JC 9465 generates ROS (hydroxyl radical ions and singlet oxygen ions) that kills microorganisms in less than 10 seconds at an ORP of +700 mV.
